GCMU Membership Guideline
The Global Consortium of Metropolitan Universities (GCMU) set out to connect metropolitan universities around the globe. By working together, GCMU members address city issues with a global perspective and form a network for collaboration and sharing of best practices and ideas. To invite the right candidates to join the group, the GCMU Executive Council has laid out the following principles for the membership:
- GCMU is a group of metropolitan universitiesthat dedicate to cities;
- GCMU aims to achieve geographical presence in all continents(with roots in Asia);
- GCMU’s networkshall cover major countries, regions, and cities of the world;
- GCMU comprises member universities who are representative of their located cities.
