[Announcement] 2026 GCMU Annual Conference & the 27th IUSAM to Be Held in Macau
We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Global Consortium of Metropolitan Universities (GCMU) Annual Conference and the 27th Inter-University Symposium on Asian Megacities (IUSAM) will be held at City University of Macau from 4th December to 6th December 2026.
This joint event will be themed: “Transformation and Innovation of Cities, Planning, and Governance.”
The event will bring together institutional leaders, scholars, and policy experts from across the globe to engage in high-level dialogue on the evolving role of metropolitan universities in shaping sustainable, resilient, and well-governed urban futures.
Detailed information regarding the Tentative Programme, the Reply Slip, and the Call for Paper Abstracts has been circulated via official email to all member institutions. We kindly request that designated contacts review the full communication and respond by the specified deadline.
