MSU-IAAS, CityU Expand Cooperation in International Higher Education

A delegation led by Alexey Maslov, Dean of the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU-IAAS), visited the City University of Macau (CityU). The two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, faculty and student exchanges and exchanges, short-term training, and co-organizing academic seminars.

CityU’s Rector Jun Liu extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Dean Alexey Maslov and introduced the history of CityU, as well as the achievements in discipline construction and international exchanges.

Dean Alexey Maslov shared the development of the MSU-IAAS in terms of discipline, characteristics, international exchanges, and cooperation. He expressed a hope to establish a partnership with CityU, leveraging their strengths to carry out joint student cultivation projects to create an internationalized cultivation platform for students.

Going forward, both sides look forward to signing a cooperation agreement as soon as possible to promote cooperation in faculty and student exchanges, joint student cultivation, academic and cultural fields. Meanwhile, MSU-IAAS will explore more cooperation opportunities with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Institute for Research on Portuguese-Speaking Countries, the Faculty of Business, and other faculties of CityU.
