Prof. Paulo Quaresma, Vice Rector of the University of Évora, visited City University of Macau (CityU). Both sides held an exchange session aimed at strengthening collaboration.

CityU and the University of Évora have a strong foundation for academic collaboration. Moving forward, both sides aim to further enhance comprehensive exchanges and deepen discipline development in the areas of artificial intelligence and big health. Additionally, the universities will work together to provide training for teaching members in Portuguese-speaking countries. The Sino-Portugal Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Science of Cultural Heritage Conservation (Belt and Road Joint Laboratory) was established by CityU in collaboration with the University of Évora and Soochow University in 2020 under the endorsement of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Based on the existing collaboration, in-depth and high-level cooperation will be facilitated in research studies and resource sharing.
